Inspired by both Chinese and Egyptian ceramics , Sitting Room Tiger or Stubentiger (taken by my time in Germany ) is a hand built sculpture of a tiger with hand produced decals as tatoos or markings as an alternative expression of stripes .

The piece is mounted on a ceramic sofa and rug which is decorated with botanical and moth motifs . Finished with earthenware glazes of golden, sweet as honey hues and deepest greens .
